Psychological bond

A particularly intense or prolonged personal relationship may result in a psychological bond. Thus we speak of the "bond of marriage" or of a mother "bonding" with a new-born baby.

Advocates of teams in business organisation would have potential team members "bonding" with each other and (especially) with team leaders.
