Procedendo

Procedendo is one of the prerogative writs, the one that corresponds to certiorari, except that certiorari is a higher court's order to a lower court to send the record of a case to it for appellate review, and procedendo is the higher court's order sending a case back for the lower court to proceed with it, because there was no legal basis for the higher court to review it.
