Princess Astrid of Belgium

Princess Astrid was born on June 5, 1962, in Brussels, Belgium, to King Albert II and Queen Paola of Belgium. She was christened Astrid Josephine-Charlotte Fabrizia Elisabeth Paola Maria.

Her Royal Highness married Archduke Lorenz of Austria-Este in 1984. They have five children, Prince Amedeo, Princess Maria Laura, Prince Joachim, Princess Luisa Maria, and Princess Laetitia Maria.

Princess Astrid is President of the Belgian Red Cross. She travels abroad in her capacity as President. She lives with her family in Brussels.
