Prince-Bishop

Prince-Bishop or Reichsfürst was a title granted by the Holy Roman Emperor to the holders of certain bishoprics.

The title granted the bishop, a religious leader, secular rights over his diocese, thus making him the legal equal of other princes of the same rank.
