Potentilla

Different varities of potentilla can be quite variable, but they are all hardy plants that produce small flowers for much of the summer. It is popular throuhgout the United States and souther Canada and is also gorwn in Europe. It is very often used by cities and businesses for landscapping because of its hardiness and low maintenance.

It is also popular beacuse it is a perennial that has flowers for almost the entire summer. The flowers are most often yellow or white, but varities exist for most colours. The flowers are always small, flat, and round, but there are many dozens on each bush.
