Porto Claro

Porto Claro claims to be the oldest internet micronation in Latin America. It was founded on September 25, 1992 by Pedro Aguiar, a resident of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. On the 10th anniversary of its creation Aguiar terminated the simulation activities associated with Porto Claro, converting it instead into a purely imaginary country.
