Pope Honorius II

Honorius II (Lambert of Ostia), pope from 1124 to February 13, 1130. As papal legate he had been one of the framers of the Concordat of Worms (1122). During his pontificate the Premonstratensian Order[?], and also that of the Knights Templar, received papal sanction.

The name of Honorius II had also been assumed in the previous century (1061-64) by Peter Cadalus; but he was never recognised as a legitimate pope.
