Pollen is a fine powder which contains the male gametes of plants which bear seeds. Pollen is produced by the plant's anthers. Pollen is the collective term of individual microspores[?] called pollen grain.

The tapping panel dryness disease[?] of the rubber plant is caused by viruses transmitted by seed and pollen.

Allergy to pollen is called hay fever[?].
