Techniques (Pokemon)

Techniques are how Pokemon fight. Each monster can have up to four techniques at a time, which they learn as they gain experience[?], through breeding[?], or by using TMs[?]. Each technique has an associated type and sometimes effect, which is usually a stat modifier[?] or status[?] change.
