Plumas Eureka is a town located in Plumas County, California. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 320.

Geography Plumas Eureka is located at 39°47'23" North, 120°39'6" West (39.789608, -120.651553)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 10.2 km² (3.9 mi²). 10.2 km² (3.9 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 320 people, 167 households, and 110 families residing in the town. The population density is 31.4/km² (81.1/mi²). There are 445 housing units at an average density of 43.6/km² (112.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 99.06% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.31% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.62% from two or more races. 1.25% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 167 households out of which 9.6% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.1% are married couples living together, 1.2% have a female householder with no husband present, and 34.1% are non-families. 29.3% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.2% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 1.92 and the average family size is 2.31.

In the town the population is spread out with 10.0% under the age of 18, 0.6% from 18 to 24, 13.1% from 25 to 44, 45.6% from 45 to 64, and 30.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 56 years. For every 100 females there are 82.9 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 84.6 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $58,571, and the median income for a family is $59,643. Males have a median income of $54,286 versus $46,250 for females. The per capita income for the town is $30,706. 4.9% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 0.0% are under the age of 18 and 5.4% are 65 or older.
