With the aid of a $24 000 mortgage on their parents' home, the brothers opened their first Pizza Haven outlet at Glenelg in Adelaide, Australia. Employing 12 people, the Christou brothers were active in the running of the business. Today, Pizza Haven is an Australian franchised business run by families.
