Pita

Pita (also called pitta or pita bread) is a round flat wheat bread made with yeast. It is traditional in many Middle Eastern[?] and Mediterranean cuisines[?]. Pita is used to dip sauces such as hummus and to wrap sandwiches such as gyros[?]. It is also sometimes split open and filled as pocket bread.

Pita is also the working name of an electronic musician, Peter Rehberg, who co-runs the Mego record label.
