Pigwidgeon

Pigwidgeon, or Pig, is the name of Ron Weasley's pet owl in the Harry Potter series of novels, by J. K. Rowling.

The name is a combination of pig (the barnyard animal) with widgeon (the fresh-water duck).

Pigwidgeon was a gift from Sirius Black to Ron, to replace his rat, Scabbers. Pigwidgeon was named by Ron's sister, Ginny.
