Pierre-Esprit Radisson (1636-1710) was a French-born explorer and fur trader. He journeyed to the fur-trading regions of Lake Michigan and Lake Superior with his brother-in-law Ménard des Groseilliers. In 1668 they voyaged to Hudson Bay on behalf of a group of English merchants who would later found the Hudson's Bay Company.
