Picometer is an SI measure of length that is equal to 10-12 of a meter. Its abbreviation is pm and is commonly used in measuring atomic-scale distances. Atom diameters are in the range from 50 to 600 pm.

1 pm = 1 x 10-12 meter
100 pm = 1 ångström
1000 pm = 1 nanometer
