In 
Greek mythology, 
Phyleus was a son of King 
Augeas of 
Elis and father of 
Meges.  He supported 
Heracles instead of his father (in the matter of the Augean Stables) and was exiled.  After Heracles killed Augeas, he gave Phyleus the kingdom.
