Pharmacist

A source of medication and health information and products, especially information on reactions between multiple medications.

In the UK, pharmacists complete a 4 year degree and one year pre-registration experience before registration. Pharmacists work in hospitals, pharmaceutical industry, universities, medical practices and in community pharmacies. Pharmacists are trained in pharmacology, interactions, medicine monitoring, pharmaceutics (preparing the drug into a usable dosage form), pharmacy law, physiology, anatomy and biochemistry.
