Perugino

Pietro Vanucci Perugino (c.1445-1523), Umbrian painter, was, as his name suggests, born in Perugia. He studied under Andrea del Verrocchio. His best known works include the fresco of the Donation of the Keys (c1481) in the Sistine Chapel and The Crucifixion (1496) in Siena. His influence can be seen, to a certain extent, in the work of his pupil Raphael. erfic
