The Personal History, Adventures, Experience, & Observation of David Copperfield the Younger is a 1935 film based upon the Charles Dickens novel. It starred Freddie Bartholomew[?] as young David Copperfield, Frank Lawton[?] as the older David Copperfield, Edna May Oliver[?] as Aunt Betsey, Basil Rathbone as Mr. Murdstone, Una O'Connor[?] as Mrs. Gummidge, Lionel Barrymore as Dan Peggotty, Elsa Lanchester as Clickett and W.C. Fields as Micawber.

The film was adapted by Hugh Walpole[?], Howard Estabrook[?] and Lenore J. Coffee[?] from the Dickens novel, and directed by George Cukor.
