Persi Diaconis
Mathematician and amateur magician
Persi Diaconis is Mary V. Sunseri professor of statistics
and professor of mathematics at Stanford University.
He is particularly known for tackling mathematical problems involving
randomness and randomization, such as shuffling playing cards.
