Perkins School for the Blind

Founded in 1832 by Samuel Gridley Howe, and located in Watertown, Massachusetts, Perkins School for the Blind is a learning center for people who are blind, deaf, blind or have multiple disabilities, with an emphasis on individual independence. Anne Sullivan and Helen Keller attended Perkins Institute for the Blind.
