Penalosa is a city located in Kingman County, Kansas. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 27.

Geography Penalosa is located at 37°42'57" North, 98°19'12" West (37.715846, -98.320084)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²). 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 27 people, 12 households, and 8 families residing in the city. The population density is 148.9/km² (374.2/mi²). There are 19 housing units at an average density of 104.8/km² (263.4/mi²).
