The racial makeup of the town is 95.06% White, 3.73% African American, 0.37% Native American, 0.14% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.19% from other races, and 0.51% from two or more races. 1.40% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
