The song 'Peaches' by The Stranglers was one of the big summer hits of 1977, a close rival to The Sex Pistols' God Save The Queen in terms of notoriety. Because of the dubious nature of the lyrics, the B-side Go Buddy Go was the song played on UK radio at the time.
