Paul Manship

 

Paul Manship, c. 1947

Paul Howard Manship (1885 - 1966) was a prominent American sculptor of the early 20th Century. He is perhaps best known today for his gilded statue of Prometheus in New York City's Rockefeller Plaza. Other notable works include:

Many of his sculptures show a strong Art Deco influence.
