Parti liberal du Quebec

The Parti libéral du Quebec (Liberal Party of Quebec) is a Quebec political party. They traditionally support Canadian federalism (as opposed to the separatist Parti Québécois) and the role of government in the economy (as opposed to the conservative Action Démocratique du Québec[?]). Notable Liberal premiers of Quebec include Jean Lesage and Robert Bourassa.

The current premier of Quebec, Jean Charest (elected April 14, 2003) is from the Parti libéral.
