Parksville is a town located in McCormick County, South Carolina. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 120.

Geography Parksville is located at 33°47'9" North, 82°13'8" West (33.785838, -82.218906)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 1.7 km² (0.7 mi²). 1.7 km² (0.7 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 120 people, 51 households, and 37 families residing in the town. The population density is 70.2/km² (182.6/mi²). There are 74 housing units at an average density of 43.3/km² (112.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 88.33% White, 9.17% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.83% Pacific Islander, 1.67% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 51 households out of which 25.5% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 68.6% are married couples living together, 5.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 25.5% are non-families. 17.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 13.7% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.35 and the average family size is 2.66.

In the town the population is spread out with 17.5% under the age of 18, 5.0% from 18 to 24, 27.5% from 25 to 44, 25.0% from 45 to 64, and 25.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 45 years. For every 100 females there are 87.5 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 76.8 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $38,958, and the median income for a family is $39,583. Males have a median income of $42,188 versus $25,750 for females.
