Overseas Chinese Youth Language Training and Study Tour to the Republic of China

The Overseas Chinese Youth Language Training and Study Tour to the Republic of China is a three month summer program which is much more commonly known among its participants as the Love Boat. The study tour is sponsored by the government of the Republic of China and their intention is to teach college aged overseas Chinese about Chinese culture and language. The intention of the parents who send their sons and daugthers to the tour is largely so that they meet other eligible overseas Chinese, from which it gets its name.
