Osterdock is a city located in Clayton County, Iowa. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 50.

Geography Osterdock is located at 42°43'47" North, 91°9'42" West (42.729756, -91.161709)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 1.2 km² (0.4 mi²). 1.2 km² (0.4 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 50 people, 21 households, and 16 families residing in the city. The population density is 42.9/km² (109.9/mi²). There are 21 housing units at an average density of 18.0/km² (46.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 100.00% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 21 households out of which 23.8% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 76.2% are married couples living together, 0.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 23.8% are non-families. 23.8% of all households are made up of individuals and 9.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.38 and the average family size is 2.81.
