Album Cover Description Jandek's from-the-waist-up profile in dark gray silhouette against a light gray background, mouth open, shirt collar poking out. In the lower left is the corner of a piece of furniture (a table?) with a cup or candleholder sitting on it. It looks like he's in dense fog, except he's indoors. Actually, it might be just his shadow. The cover is remarkably similar to the cover of the much earlier LP Later On, except that the earlier cover lacks the fog effect and there's different stuff on the table: a glass in one, the top of a bottle (of wine?) and a strange object I can't identify in the other. In fact, if you look very closely, these two photos were definitely taken at the same time, although from a slightly different angle -- there's an object, probably a microphone stand, that appears in both shots at the same height and angle, and his shirt is becoming untucked in front in the same way in both. -- Seth Tisue
