Off spin

Off spin is a type of bowling in the sport of Cricket. It is so called because (to a right hander) the ball travels, after hitting the ground, from off to leg side. Off spin bowling is more common than Leg spin because the action involved is generally considered easier. While the off to leg direction is most common, some of the better off spinners today, such as Saqlain Mushtaq[?] and Muttiah Muralitharan have developed some deliveries which are less predictable.

Not to be confused with spin-off.
