Octapad

Octapad is the brand name of an electronic percussion instrument manufactured by Roland corporation.

It is flat and rectangular, and its plastic surface is divided into eight parts. Each part can trigger a different sound via MIDI. Additionally, there are six input jacks to connect external pads. The octapad can be played with drumsticks or mallets.
