Oak Park is a town located in Emanuel County, Georgia. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 366.

Geography Oak Park is located at 32°22'15" North, 82°18'36" West (32.370747, -82.309915)1.

According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 18.5 km² (7.2 mi²). 18.5 km² (7.1 mi²) of it is land and 0.1 km² (0.04 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.28% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 366 people, 148 households, and 103 families residing in the town. The population density is 19.8/km² (51.3/mi²). There are 199 housing units at an average density of 10.8/km² (27.9/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 90.98% White, 0.82% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 8.20% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 10.11% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 148 households out of which 28.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 47.3% are married couples living together, 14.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 30.4% are non-families. 27.0% of all households are made up of individuals and 10.8% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.47 and the average family size is 2.90.

In the town the population is spread out with 21.9% under the age of 18, 13.4% from 18 to 24, 27.6% from 25 to 44, 25.1% from 45 to 64, and 12.0% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 36 years. For every 100 females there are 110.3 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 111.9 males.

The median income for a household in the town is $24,808, and the median income for a family is $33,333. Males have a median income of $30,625 versus $18,125 for females. The per capita income for the town is $14,317. 11.6% of the population and 14.0% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 11.8% are under the age of 18 and 12.0% are 65 or older.
