NRI

NRI stands for Non-Resident of India. Used to refer to an Indian citizen who has migrated to another country. Lately the reference had been change to POI(Person of Indian Origin). The chief difference between a POI and an NRI is that, NRIs are direct immigrants from India, where as second and third generations of NRIs are referred to as POIs.

There is huge POI population accross the world.
