Northern Epirus is the region of the southern Albania, inhabited by Greek populations since the tenth century BC. Nowadays, both Albanian and Greek populations live in the area. The problem is that since the end of the second World War, Albanian governments have denied the existence of the Greek population apart from 99 small villages. As a result those Greeks do not have the ability to be taught their language at schools or any other right that a minority deserves.
