North by Northwest, is an Alfred Hitchcock thriller created in 1959 by MGM. It stars Cary Grant as an innocent advertising man caught up in international intrigue, and co-stars Eva Marie Saint and James Mason, with a score by Bernard Herrmann. It received critical acclaim and was popular through the decades; its iconic scenes include Cary Grant being chased by a crop-duster plane and a chase across the presidential faces of Mount Rushmore.
