Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 838 people, 302 households, and 238 families residing in the village. The population density is 83.2/km² (215.4/mi²). There are 316 housing units at an average density of 31.4/km² (81.2/mi²). The racial makeup of the village is 99.05% White, 0.24% African American, 0.12% Native American, 0.12% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.48% from two or more races. 0.48% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There are 302 households out of which 35.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 66.9% are married couples living together, 8.6% have a female householder with no husband present, and 20.9% are non-families. 17.9% of all households are made up of individuals and 6.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
