North Franklin is an unorganized territory located in Franklin County, Maine. As of the 2000 census, the unorganized territory had a total population of 41.

Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the unorganized territory has a total area of 1,315.9 km² (508.1 mi²). 1,293.2 km² (499.3 mi²) of it is land and 22.7 km² (8.8 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 1.72% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 41 people, 17 households, and 12 families residing in the unorganized territory. The population density is 0.0/km² (0.1/mi²). There are 281 housing units at an average density of 0.2/km² (0.6/mi²). The racial makeup of the unorganized territory is 92.68% White, 7.32% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.

There are 17 households out of which 29.4% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.8% are married couples living together, 5.9% have a female householder with no husband present, and 29.4% are non-families. 29.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 23.5% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older.
