North American Soccer League

In 1967, two pro socccer leagues started in the United States. The FIFA sanction United Soccer Association and the National Professional Soccer League. They mergered in 1968 to form the North American Soccer League. The NASL lasted until 1984 when it folded. The league also played indoor soccer from 1979-84. The champions from the outdoor seasons are listed.
