Nora Ephron

Nora Ephron (born May 19, 1941) is an American female film director, producer and screenplay writer. Her parents, Henry Ephron[?] and Phoebe Ephron[?] were both successful screenwriters. She is best known for her romantic comedies.

Nora Ephron's second husband was journalist Carl Bernstein[?]. When he left her for Margaret Jay[?], Ephron retaliated with the novel, Heartburn (1983), later made into a film starring Jack Nicholson and Meryl Streep.
