Nigel Kennedy

Nigel Kennedy (born December 28, 1956), now often known simply as Kennedy, is an English violinist. He was a pupil of the Yehudi Menuhin school.

Kennedy has done much to popularise classical music, and is popular with young people. He has also performed and recorded most of the major violin concerti. Additionally, he has been keen to perform jazz on the violin, and in this respect he follows in the steps of Stephane Grappelli, though his style is very different.
