New Jersey State Highway 55

New Jersey State Highway 55 is a state highway in New Jersey, United States. It runs from an intersection with New Jersey State Highway 47 (Delsea Drive) in Port Elizabeth, New Jersey[?] to an intersection with New Jersey State Highway 42 in Deptford, New Jersey[?]. Much of this highway is freeway.

Some highway advocates want NJ 55 extended eastward to meet the Garden State Parkway at its southern end. Construction of this section of the highway has been stalled because a wildlife preserve is along the route.
