Nedre Eiker

The municipality Nedre Eiker (Lower Eiker) in the county of Buskerud, Norway, has 20,931 inhabitants as of January 1, 2002.

Together with neighboring Øvre Eiker, the Eiker area is an agricultural landscape with a long history. The area was first inhabitated around 8000 BC.
