National Foundation for Educational Research

The National Foundation for Educational Research (NFER) is based at The Mere in Slough, Berkshire, England. It was founded in 1946, and has been at the forefront of research and development in education since that date.

The foundation's work includes numerous research projects, the evaluation of the impact of various education and training programmes, the development of assessments for all age ranges and specialist information services.
