Natacha Rambova

She was born out of wedlock to Winifred Kimball (at least four different men are reputed to have been her father), as Winifred Kimball. Her mother subsequently married Michael Shaughnessy, who adopted her, and she was known as Winifred Shaughnessy for a time before she adopted the stage name Natacha Rambova. (She was not adopted by her mother's next husband, Richard Hudnut, and was thus not, as is sometimes claimed, known as Winifred Hudnut.)

She married Rudolph Valentino in 1923.

She married Alvaro de Urzaiz in 1934.

She worked as an art director for an extended period with Alla Nazimova[?] (née Adelaide Leventon), which whom she is often asserted, though evidence is lacking, to have had a lesbian relationship.
