Napoléon Joseph Charles Paul Bonaparte

Napoléon Joseph Charles Paul Bonaparte (Trieste, Italy, September 9, 1822-Rome, Italy March 17, 1891) was the son of Jerome Bonaparte and Catharina of Württemberg.

Known as Prince Napoleon or more commonly "Plon-Plon", he married Marie Clothilde, daughter of Victor Emmanuel II of Italy. Their grandson Louis Bonaparte (Bruxelles 1914-1997) was a pretender of Bonaparte dynasty as his son prince Napoleon (Charles, born 1950) representing the current head of the family. This Charles Napoleon has a son Jean (born 1986) and a brother Jérôme (born 1957), unmarried. There are no remaining descendants in male line from any other of Napoleon's brothers.
