Mys Dezhneva

Mys Dezhneva (also Cape Dezhnev) (66°01'N, 169°43' E), Russia, the eastern-most point of Asia, on Chukchi Peninsula[?] in the Bering Strait. Named after Russian navigator Simon Dezhnev (1605-1672), who discovered it in 1648.
