The Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester, located in Manchester, England, is a large technical museum devoted to the city's not-inconsiderable contributions to the development of science, technology, and industry.

It is located on Castlefield, the site of the original Roman fort in Manchester, and it incorporates Liverpool Road Station, one of the original termini of the Liverpool and Manchester Railway, the world's first passenger railway. There are extensive displays on the theme of transport (railway rolling stock, aircraft, and space vehicles), power (water, electricity, and gas engines), Manchester's sewerage and sanitation, textiles, and communications.
