Mujaheddin-e-Khalq

The Mujaheddin-e-Khalq Organisation (MEK/MKO) is also known as The National Liberation Army of Iran (NLA), The People's Mujahedin of Iran (PMOI) and the National Council of Resistance (NCR)). The organisation emerged in Iran during the 1960s, and has been recognised by some nations as a terrorist group. It held significant ties with the former Iraqi government of Saddam Hussein, however its military wing was at least partly disarmed by occupying American forces.

In June 2003, the group had its some of its French properties raided, after suspicions that it was trying to shift its base of operations there. [1 (http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/world/europe/3010422.stm)]
