Geography According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 92.6 km² (35.8 mi²). 92.5 km² (35.7 mi²) of it is land and 0.2 km² (0.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 0.17% water.

Demographics As of the census of 2000, there are 442 people, 99 households, and 88 families residing in the township. The population density is 4.8/km² (12.4/mi²). There are 101 housing units at an average density of 1.1/km² (2.8/mi²). The racial makeup of the township is 96.61% White, 2.26% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.68% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 0.45% from two or more races. 2.49% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race.
